Our dedication to worker safety has consistently given us an insurance "Experience Modification Rating (EMR)" of less than one, which is very difficult to obtain in our industry.  We utilize mandatory pre-hire drug testing, physical examinations, and industry safety training for all new employees.  Within the first year, additional safety training is required as the new apprentice begins the path towards becoming a journeyman.  Weekly "tool box talks" continue the safety education of our crews.  Random and unannounced jobsite safety inspections are performed by an independent safety consulting firm which we hire to provide additional safety training and oversight.
